How predictive are survey results? |
|
This is truly a “frequently asked question” but any answer based on statistics is inherently misleading because so many cases settle and if they don’t, an actual trial will always be quite different from any kind of simulation. The best way to think about an EarlyJury survey is that it is a research tool, designed to give you critical feedback at a critical juncture of your case. Surveys or mock trials aren’t capable of predicting the future. However, when done correctly with well-balanced case presentations that don’t sugarcoat the facts and participants who are properly screened for disqualifying biases - attitudinal surveys will always reveal fascinating and useful information about your case.
